The Coloring Craze

When was the last time you colored? Did the page feature princesses or fire trucks? Or have you already been swept up in the new adult coloring book craze? If you have, you’re in good company! HRL Youth Services and the Teen Advisory Board love to color and we want you to join us. Coloring can create the same peace of mind as meditation and may have many health benefits, especially for developing minds.

Coloring Club is the latest program to hit the Young Adult collection at Bowman Library, the first and third Monday of every month! Teens and tweens (12-18) are invited to chill, chat, and (most importantly) color.

If your teen is looking for a more difficult art challenge they are welcome to Manga Art Club, a group of young adult artists with a friendly, safe place to share their work and create new art.

The two clubs meet simultaneously for one awesome, art-filled hour 5:30-6:30 pm in the Young Adult collection at Bowman Library. March’s meetings will be on the 7th and the 21st. All necessary art supplies will be provided by the library.  See you there!
