Laugh-Out-Loud Storytime at Handley Regional Library

We can’t have a silly storytime without pulling out our old favorite:

You can find this song in our collection on:
Book Jacket for: A child's celebration of silliest songs [sound recording]

A child’s celebration of silliest songs [sound recording] / Produced by Leib Ostrow.

Lyrics:

I’ve gotta shake, shake, shake my sillies out
Shake, shake, shake my sillies out
Shake, shake, shake my sillies out
And wiggle my waggles away

I’ve gotta clap, clap, clap my crazies out
Clap, clap, clap my crazies out
Clap, clap, clap my crazies out
And wiggle my waggles away

I’ve gotta jump, jump, jump my jiggles out
Jump, jump, jump my jiggles out
Jump, jump, jump my jiggles out
And wiggle my waggles away

I’ve gotta yawn, yawn, yawn my sleepies out
Yawn, yawn, yawn my sleepies out
Yawn, yawn, yawn my sleepies out
And wiggle my waggles away.

Another favorite – Jim Gill’s Silly Dance Contest from:

Aiken Drum

There was a man who lived in the moon.
In the moon. In the moon.
There was a man who lived in the moon.
And his name was Aiken Drum.

Chorus
He played upon a ladle.
A ladle. A ladle.
He played upon a ladle.
And his name was Aiken Drum.

His hair was made of spaghetti.
Spaghetti. Spaghetti.
His hair was made of spaghetti.
And his name was Aiken Drum.
