Five Little Cookies
Five little cookies in the bakery shop
Shining, shining with sugar on top
Along came a boy/girl
With a penny to spend
S/He took one…and away he ran.
(Continue with Four, Three, Two, One, Zero.)

Making Cookies
I am making cookie dough.
(hold out arms in a circle, like a bowl)
Round and round the beaters go. (roll hands)
Add some flour from a cup. (shake a pretend cup)
Stir and stir the batter up. (stirring motion)
Roll them, cut them nice and neat.
(rolling pin motion)
Put them on a cookie sheet. (place pretend cookies)
Bake them, count them 1-2-3. (counting motion)
Serve them to my friends for tea. (take a bite!)

Knife, Fork, Spoon, Spatula
I’m a Knife, Fork, Spoon, Spatula, cha cha cha
I’m a Knife, Fork, Spoon, Spatula, cha cha cha
I’m a Knife, Fork, Spoon,
I’m a Knife, Fork, Spoon,
I’m a Knife, Fork, Spoon, Spatula, cha cha cha

Popcorn! Chant
You put the oil in the pot and you let it get hot.  (slap knees in rhythm)
You put the popcorn in and you start to grin.
Sizzle, sizzle (jiggle, slowly increasing in speed)
Sizzle, sizzle
Sizzle, sizzle
Sizzle, sizzle
Sizzle, sizzle
Sizzle, sizzle
POP! (Jump up or Clap)

Homemade Gingerbread
Stir a bowl of gingerbread, smooth and spicy brown. (make a mixing motion)
Roll it with a rolling pin, up and up and down. (Roll hands back and forth)
With a cookie cutter, make some little men. (Pretend to hold a cookie cutter and move it up and down.)
Put them in the oven, till half past ten. (Pretend to hold a tray and place it in the oven. Then point to wrist.)

Five Yummy Gingerbread
Five yummy gingerbread (hold up five fingers)
Sitting on a plate
The first one said, (one finger)
“Boy we smell so great!”
The second one said, (two fingers)
“There’s a chill in the air.”
The third one said, (three fingers)
“I see hungry children everywhere.”
The fourth said, (found fingers)
“I think we better run!”
The fifth one said, (five fingers)
“Here the children come!”
Then the children each grabbed one
And with a MUNCH, CRUNCH, MUNCH, (pretend to eat)
The five yummy gingerbreads all turned into lunch. (rub tummy)
