Place your hands in ice water and feel how blubber keeps an empire penguin warm. Explore penguin rocks, smoothed out by thousands of generations of adélie penguins. There will be only one Libratory time each month this season. Registration required and space is limited so register today!
Harry Potter Marathon! Monday, January 29th @ 1pm for all ages. Local schools are out so head to Hogwarts instead to watch Scorcerer’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Prisoner of Azkaban.
Teen Writer’s Guild will not meet this month because of the holiday but online submissions to the Teen Times are greatly encouraged! Submit a book review, write an article about a HRL teen program, send a description and link for a story you’ve written, poetry, artwork, photos, and anything you’d like to share that may be of interest to other teens at any of our library branches. You can be published in our monthly newsletter! Submit to email@example.com by January 18th.
