About

A young patron, reading along with Phoebe, the library mascot.

We are a group of librarians working with youth at Handley Regional Library, a library system serving the people of Winchester City and Frederick and Clarke counties in Virginia.

We offer library services to youth and their parents, caregivers, and teachers. We assist by recommending books for reading, answering questions, compiling booklists, and presenting quality programs for children ages infant through high school.

We advocate for children, encourage literacy through programming, and promote the gift of reading.

More information about the library system is available on the library’s website: Handley Regional Library.  You can also connect with us by following our blog, signing up for the library’s email newsletter, and by liking us on facebook.
